Front Roof Module Microphone Unit Overview

The microphone unit in front roof module is installed in the front interior lamp. Depending on the equipment, there are up to three microphones
installed.

One microphone is connected directly to the digital sound system control module. The other microphones are connected to the information electronics
control module 1/telephone transceiver.

Microphone Unit in Front Roof Module

1. Microphone (blue) for information electronics control module 1 (MMI)/telephone transceiver (CAN, left-hand drive vehicles)

2. Radar interior monitoring control module 1

3. Microphone (black) for information electronics control module 1 (MMI)/telephone transceiver (CAN, right-hand drive vehicles)

4. Inside microphone (black) for the digital sound system control module

5. Blue 6-pin connector (T6c)
