‹› The following describes testing the forced air ventilation inside the Audi A5 Coupé passenger compartment; in other vehicles, the
component locations may differ, but the function testing and removing/installing the components is the same.
‹› On the Audi Q5 the air is routed on the left and right sides through the vents in the side trim - A - and in the back of the luggage compartment.
From there the air flows to the ventilation frame - B -.
‹› One vent frame - A - is installed in the body vent opening - C - on the left and the right for the forced air extraction.
‹› Forced air extraction vent frames - A - are removed and installing from outside (with bumper cover removed).
‹› There are different styles of the ventilation from for the forced air extraction - A - (for vehicle with and without acoustic hood - E - (the
installation of the acoustic hood - E - depends on the vehicle type).
