Console: Service and Repair
Center Console Button Unit, MMI Basic
Center Console Button Unit, MMI Basic
Removing
-
Pull the parking brake button to lock the electro-mechanical parking brake.
-
Remove the center console cover.
-
Carefully release the retaining hooks - arrows - with a small screwdriver - 2 -.
-
Press the button unit - 1 - out of the switch mount.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
-
Press button unit into mount until fasteners engage into the switch mount.
-
Install the center console cover.
