Remove footwell vents - A and B -.

Remove brake lamp sensor. Refer to => [ Brake Lamp Sensor ] See: Power Brake Assist/Brake Intervention Sensor / Switch/Service and Repair.

Disconnect electrical connector from the gas pedal module.

Disconnect brake pedal from brake booster. Refer to => [ Brake Pedal and Brake Booster, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Brake Pedal and
Brake Booster, Disconnecting and Connecting. 

CAUTION!
If possible, leave the brake pedal stop installed; it could brake the mount for the brake lamp sensor if the brake pedal is released too
quickly.

Remove tower brace.

-

Remove plenum chamber bulkhead.

-

Remove cover - 2 - over the brake fluid reservoir.
