Remove electronic parking brake control module - 1 - with the plug connector.

-

Remove electrical connector from the control module.

-

Remove control module from the vehicle.

Installing

-

Connect electrical connector - 2 - on the control module.

-

Slide retainer on the connector back and lock it.

-

Insert control module.

-

Install nuts and tighten to 9 Nm.

Install trailer mode control module and bracket, if applicable. Bracket, 3 Nm.

-

If electronic parking brake control module is replaced, select the " Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding".

Use the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B) or 5052.
