Front Coolant Pipe

Front Coolant Pipe

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Spanner wrench (3212)

‹› Hose clamp pliers (V.A.G 1921)

‹› Hose clamp pliers (VAS 6340)

Removing

-

Drain coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures or remove the after-run coolant pump
(V51) ( V51) if applicable => [ After-Run Coolant Pump ] See: After-Run Coolant Pump/Service and Repair/After-Run Coolant Pump.

Remove air duct - arrows -.

-

Remove ribbed belt. Refer to => [ Ribbed Belt ] See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and
Repair/Ribbed Belt.

Remove bolts for the coolant pump ribbed belt pulley, using a spanner wrench (3212) to counterhold.

Remove left front wheel.

-

Remove left front wheel housing liner. Refer to =>
