Remove bolts - arrow - and disconnect ATF lines from the transmission.

‹› To prevent ATF from leaking, secure all ATF lines to the top of the longitudinal member.

Seal off the open lines and connections with clean plugs taken from the engine bung set (VAS 6122).

Remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 - and remove bumper cover noise insulation toward the rear.

Remove spreader clips - arrows - carefully push the pin - 1 - into the spreader clip - arrow A - to dimension - x -.

‹› Dimension - x - = 5 mm.

Remove spreader clip - 2 - and pin.

Remove bolts - arrows -.
