Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

Removing

‹› Engine cold.

-

Quickly open the coolant reservoir cap and release any remaining pressure in the cooling system and then close it again.

-

Remove front engine cover - bottom arrows -.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.

‹› Lay a cloth below to catch escaping coolant.

-

Remove retaining clip - 1 - and Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (G62).
