Remove bolts - 1 - for the lower section of the oil pan.

Carefully loosen lower section of the oil pan from the bond without bending it.

Installing

‹› Replace the lower section of the oil pan if the coating on it is damaged or if it is bent.

CAUTION!
Risk of contaminating lubricating system and bearing.

‹› Cover open parts of engine.

CAUTION!
Risk of eye injury.

‹› Wear safety glasses.

Remove sealant residue on the lower and upper sections of the oil pan, for example using a rotating plastic brush.

‹› Make sure the coating on the lower section of the oil pan is not damaged.

Clean sealing surfaces; they must be free of oil and grease.

‹› Note the expiration date of the sealing compound.

Cut tube nozzle at the front marking (nozzle diameter approximately 1 mm).
