Radio Frequency Controlled Clock Receiver

Removing

-

Remove the rear bumper cover.

Without trailer hitch

-

Lift the clips - arrows - and remove the  radio frequency controlled clock receiver (J489) -  3 - upward and out of its retainer - 1 -.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 - on the radio frequency controlled clock receiver (J489). 

With trailer hitch

-

Remove the bolts - arrows - and the radio frequency controlled clock receiver (J489) - item 2 -.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - on the radio frequency controlled clock receiver (J489). 

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Install the rear bumper cover Removal and Installation. 

If the bumper cover was removed from a vehicle with lane change assist, then the lane change assistance control module (J769)/ (J770) must be
