Fuel Gauge Sender: Testing and Inspection

Fuel Level Sensor, Checking

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hand-held multimeter (V.A.G 1526D)

‹› Connector test set (V.A.G 1594C)

Procedure

-

Remove right 1/3 rear seat.

-

Remove bolts - arrows - and remove locking flange cover - 1 -.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 1 - on the locking flange.

-

Push circlip - 1 - upward - arrow A - and compress release - arrow B -.
