ATF, Draining or Filling after Repair

Draining ATF

‹› The engine is switched off.

‹› Move vehicle onto a four-pillar lifting platform or over a work pit so that it stands absolutely horizontal.

‹› Selector lever in "P".

‹› The parking brake button should be activated to close the electromechanical parking brake.

Remove the rear noise insulation - 2 -.

-

Place Used Oil Collection and Extraction Device ( V.A.G 1782) under transmission.

CAUTION!
Danger of eye injury.

‹› Wear protective goggles!

Remove ATF drain plug - arrow - and drain the ATF.
