12V Socket 3

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Release tool (T40148)

Removing

-

Open the cover for the right luggage compartment side trim.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector.

-

The release tabs - 2 - on the release tool ( T40148) must engage in the openings in the 12V socket -  3 - - arrow - and the threaded pin - 1 - must
slide down as far as the stop.

-

Open the mount cover - 2 - and hold it in that position. 

-

Slide the release tool (T40148) as far as the stop into the 12V socket - 3 -.

-

Rotate the thumbwheel - 1 - on the release tool (T40148) clockwise as far as the stop.

‹› The piston - 2 - is pulled upward and the release tabs -  1 - on the release tool (T40148) spread -  arrows -.
