Heated Oxygen Sensor G39

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Ring spanner 7-piece set for oxygen sensor (3337 )

Removing

-

Pull rear engine cover off - arrows -.

-

Free up fuel supply line - 4 - and hose connection -  1 - to the EVAP canister on the air filter housing and on the air guide tube.

-

Remove vacuum hose - 2 - from the air guide hose. 

-

Remove air guide hose by loosening the hose clamp - 3 - and opening the clips - arrows -.

-

Remove lower section of the air filter housing. Refer to => [ Air Filter Housing, Lower Section ] See: Engine, Cooling and
Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Air Filter Housing, Lower Section.

Disconnect electrical connector - 4 - for the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) (G39).
