Release the retaining clips - arrows - and press the relay carrier - 2 - back and out of the bracket -  1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Install the interior CAN cut-off connector (T46i ) mount. Refer to => [ Interior CAN Cut-Off Connector Mount ] See: Powertrain
Management/Computers and Control Systems/Information Bus/Service and Repair/Interior CAN Cut-Off Connector Mount.

Connect the airbag electrical connector - 1 -.

Install the lower left A-pillar trim panel.

Connect the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery.
