Steering Column Switch Module

Removing

-

Adjust steering wheel downward and to rear as far as possible, use entire adjustment range of steering column adjustment for this.

-

Remove the driver airbag. Refer to => Body Interior

 69 Removal and Installation.

-

Remove steering wheel. Refer to => Suspension, Wheels,

Steering 40 Removal and Installation.

-

Remove steering column trim. Refer to => Body Interior

 68 Removal and Installation.

-

Remove bolt - 1 -.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 -.

CAUTION!
The technician must discharge static electricity before disconnecting the electrical connector - 3 -, for example by touching the door striker
pin.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 3 -.

-

Press catch - 1 - in - direction of arrow  - until harness connector - 2 - disengages.
