8. Spindle (T10254/5). The spindle pins face downward.

CAUTION!
‹› Hold the Hydraulic Cylinder (VAS 6178) securing during the pressing procedure.

‹› The bonded rubber bushing releases abruptly. There is a risk of the injury from the tools and bonded rubber bushing falling down!

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

‹› Before installing the bonded rubber bushing, make sure the Spindle (T10254/5) is able to fit through the hole in the inner core of the bushing.

When drilling through the inner core of the bonded rubber bushing, it is possible the Spindle (T10254/5) may not be drilled all the way through, if
so, it must be drilled again. 

CAUTION!
Wear protective eyewear while drilling.

Gently pre-load the bonded rubber bushing - 2 - with cover horizontally in the vice clamp as illustrated - 1 -. Be sure not to damage the outer layer
of the bonded rubber bushing.
