Shift Lock Solenoid
Removing

Place selector lever in the "P" position.

Remove the front ashtray.

Loosen the nuts - 1, 3, 5 and 6 - several turns but do not remove them completely.
‹› This lowers the shift mechanism slightly for better accessibility.
