‹› Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ ATF Cooler, ATF Pipes and ATF Filter Assembly Overview ] See: Transmission Cooler/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/0B5A Transmission. 

‹› Replace O-rings.

CAUTION!
There is a risk of damaging the transmission.

‹› When disassembling, remove all the plugs from the Engine Plug Set (VAS 6122) on the ATF pipes and on the transmission. 

‹› The ATF cooling function will not work and the transmission will be damaged if the plugs are forgotten.

Insert ATF lines by hand to stop in transmission, then tighten.

Press the circlip on the ATF pipe and ATF filter connection; pull on it to make sure the circlip is correctly installed

Install tunnel crossmember. Refer to => [ Tunnel Crossmember ] See: Transmission Mount/Service and Repair/0B5A Transmission/Tunnel
Crossmember.

Check ATF level and top off. Refer to => [ ATF, Checking Level and Correcting ] See: Procedures.
