Shift Indicator: Service and Repair

Selector Lever Transmission Range Display with Selector Lever Scale Illumination

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing

-

Pull the parking brake button to lock the electromechanical parking brake.

-

Shift the selector lever into the "S" position.

-

Switch ignition off.

-

Carefully pry the selector lever boot out at the side using a trim removal wedge (3409) or a small screwdriver -  arrows -.

-

Fold selector lever boot upward.

-

Release retaining spring - 2 - and remove Selector Lever Transmission Range Display (Y26) -  item 1 - - arrow -.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
