Mount the Gearbox Support (T10337) on the Engine/Transmission Jack (V.A.G 1383 A) and attach it to the bottom of the transmission.

Raise transmission slightly.
CAUTION!
There is the risk of an accident.
‹› The Engine/Transmission Jack (V.A.G 1383 A) may only be used during assembly and must not sit unsupervised under the vehicle.

Remove the tunnel crossmember bolts - arrows -.
