Place Used Oil Collection and Extraction Device ( V.A.G 1782) under transmission.

Remove the plug - arrow - on the side of the transmission housing.

CAUTION!
There is a risk of damaging the transmission.

‹› Do not start the engine when there is no transmission oil in the transmission. 

‹› Place a cloth over the tunnel crossmember to prevent the transmission oil from running into the cast pockets.

Fill the transmission with transmission oil slowly and evenly over a period of at least 5 minutes until transmission oil flows out at the lower edge of
the filling opening.

‹› It is important to follow the filling period to make sure the various oil spaces in the transmission are filled equally.

Perform this process in every 15 seconds with 50 ml of transmission oil until the transmission if full.

‹› The transmission oil must be up to the lower edge of the check- and fill hole.

-

Tighten the plug.

‹› It is not necessary to check the oil level again at this stage.
