Creaking noise from rear of vehicle.

Technical Background

The end cap on the luggage compartment cover is rubbing against the pin because the pin openings are too small.

Production Solution

The pin openings in the end caps are enlarged.

Service

As shown in Figure 2, enlarge the two holes in the cover end caps with a utility knife.

Create a space between the opening and the pin of approximately 1 mm.
