Rear Parking Aid Sensors, Removing And Installing 

Component location: In lower part of bumper - arrows -.

Removing 

Outer sensors: 

-

On vehicles with trailer hitch, remove rear bumper.

-

Reach behind bumper cover from below.

Inner sensors: 

-

Remove rear bumper cover.

All: 

-

Press both retainer tabs to side - arrows - and press sensor - 2 - from outside towards inside.

-

Disconnect connector - 1 - from sensor.

Installing 

Install in reverse order, observing the following:

Inner sensors: 

-

Install rear bumper cover.

Outer sensors: 

-

On vehicles with trailer hitch, install rear bumper.

Vehicles with Audi side assist: 

On vehicles with Audi side assist, Lane Change Assistance Control Module J769 / Lane Change Assistance Control Module 2 J770 must be re-calibrated
each time bumper cover is removed.
