Create a small hook - 3 - as shown using welding wire, for example.

Pry out cover cap - 1 -.

Position - 2 - shows slide in installation position.

NOTE:
-

Pull out slide only until it engages.

-

If slide is pulled out farther, it can fall into door.

-

Reach in slide - 3 - with hook from outside and pull it in - direction of arrow - out of mounting bracket - 4 - as far as retaining and release through
lock cylinder housing.

-

Remove housing sideways from door handle.

-

Installation is reverse of removal.

-

After installation, press cover cap - 2 - into door.
