Trailer Hitch Control Switch: Service and Repair

Load Level Button E539 / Electric Trailer Hitch Pivot Button E474, Removing And Installing 

Removing 

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key. 

-

Release luggage compartment right side trim cover - 1 - at place marked with - arrow A -.

-

Remove luggage compartment right side trim cover in - direction of arrow B -.

-

Disconnect connector - 1 -.

-

Release retaining clips - arrows - and carefully press Load Level Button E539 / Electric Trailer Hitch Pivot Button E474 - item 2 - out of luggage
compartment right side trim cover.

Installing 

Install in reverse order.
