Front Ashtray/Front Compartment

Removing

-

Remove Selector Lever Transmission Range (TR) Position Display (Y26).

Vehicles without CD changer in center console storage compartment:

-

Remove center console storage compartment.

-

Reach through the center console storage compartment opening and press Multimedia Control Head (E380) installation frame - 1 - upward - 
arrow -.

Vehicles with CD changer in center console storage compartment: 

-

Grasp through selector lever boot opening and pull Multimedia Control Head (E380) installation frame - 1 - upward -  arrow -.

Vehicles with ashtray:

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove the front ashtray - 2 - toward the rear.

-

Disconnect ashtray light - 1 - and cigarette lighter electrical connectors at front ashtray.
