Roof Grab Handle

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Special hook (3370)

Removing

-

Open roof grab handle cover - 1 - with Special Hook (3370).

-

Remove bolts - 2 - and - 3 -.

-

Remove roof grab handle.

Installation

Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following: 

Rear roof grab handle is equipped with a coat hook.

‹› Threaded holes for roof grab handle must be cleaned of locking compound residue after removal. Otherwise, new screws could lock up when

installed and shear off when removed again.

‹› They can be cleaned with a thread cutter.

‹› Replace roof grab handle screws (self-locking).
