Condition

Creaking or rattling noises come from the sunroof area when driving on uneven roads.

Technical Background

Friction between the sliding lugs on the front sunroof cover and the deflector.

Production Solution

Sliding lugs greased in production.

Service

1. Open the sunroof to stage 1.
2. Lubricate the left and right sliding lugs on the underside, at points of contact with the deflector. Use G 000 450 02.

3. Clean all seals on glass lid, as shown in Figure 2, with Isopropyl (alcohol).
