Condition

Front sunroof panel does not close fully, stops closing operation and reverses direction.

Technical Background

A loose wind deflector mounting bracket can interfere with the sliding glass panel when closing.

Production Solution

The wind deflector mounting is secured with an additional security clip.

Service

Inspect the wind deflector mounting block for any damage, if damage please replace wind deflector. If no damage is present reinstall the mounting block.
Mounting is delicate. You will hear an audible clicking when locking the mounting block in to the sunroof guide frame. Once installed check secure
mounting by slightly pulling on the wind deflector rod in both direction.
