Head Rest: Adjustments

Headrest Cable, Adjusting

Remove cover and padding from backrest

Step1

-

Hold bottom part - 3 - of adjuster and turn upper part - 2 - clockwise as far as stop.

In this way, cable - 4 - has maximum play.

Step 2

-

Hold lower part of adjuster - 3 - firmly and turn upper part - 2 - 3 to 5 turns counter clockwise.

Step 3

-

Check whether cable - 4 - has light play by pulling on headrest band - 1 -.

If cable - 4 - has light play, continue with step 5.
If cable - 4 - has no light play, continue with step 4.

Step 4

Cable - 4 - is tensioned too tightly.

Hold lower part of adjuster - 3 - firmly and turn upper part - 2 - 1 to 2 turns clockwise.

Cable play - 4 - is increased.

Begin again with step 3.

Step 5

-

Ensure with a function test that the headrests fold forward with the backrests at an angle of 45 degrees to the floor.
