Drivers Seat Height Adjustment Motor V245 or V246, Removing And Installing
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Engine and transmission holder VAS 6095
-
Fixture for seat repair VAS 6136
Removing
CAUTION: Observe safety precautions for work on airbags.

Remove seat.
-
Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
-
Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
-
Remove tunnel side trim panel.
-
Remove trim.
-
Remove tunnel side trim panel.
-
Remove front backrest.
-
Remove cover and padding from seat pan.
-
Remove control module.
-
Remove belt buckle.
-
Remove spring mat with seat pan wiring harness.
-
Separate upper seat pan frame from lower seat pan frame.
Installing
CAUTION: Observe safety precautions for work on airbags.
Further installation is performed in reverse sequence of removal, but observe the following:
