Remove lower retaining strips - 3 -.

-

Remove side retaining strips - 2 -.

-

Pry out upper retaining strip - 1 -.

-

Remove side airbag.

-

Remove the bolt - 3 -.

-

Loosen airbag cable retainers - 4 - on backrest frame.

Press airbag - 1 - in - direction of arrow A - upward and disengage airbag from backrest frame refer to => [ Front Airbag Igniters, Standard
Power Seat ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Airbags.

Remove airbag - 1 - from pocket - 2 - and re-engage airbag in backrest frame.

-

Remove upholstery with cover.

Installing

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

Replace airbag screw => [ (Item 4) Bolt ] See: Description and Operation/Front Seat, Mechanically Adjustable, Cushion and Upholstery.
