Brake caliper Brembo 17 and 18, servicing

Install complete repair kit when servicing.

^

Only use mineral spirits to clean brake parts.

^

Apply thin coat of assembly paste G 052 150 A2 to brake cylinders, pistons and seals.

Install onto bleeder valve

Bleeder valve

Torque specification 12 Nm

^

Apply a thin coat of assembly paste G 052 150 A2 to threads before screwing in.

Brake caliper housing

Seal for 28 mm piston

5 -

Piston seal 30 mm/32 mm

6 -

28 mm piston

^

First apply thin coat of brake cylinder paste G 052 150 A2 on piston

7 -

Piston 30 mm/32 mm

^

Apply thin coat on piston beforehand

8 -

Protective caps for 28 mm piston

^

Do not damage when installing piston

Piston 30 mm/32 mm protective caps

Do not damage when installing piston
