Pedal Parking Brake Lever

Removing

-

Remove trim on driver's side.

-

Remove foot support.

-

Disconnect connector from contact switch for parking brake.

-

Remove left fuse holder and lay aside as far as possible together with wiring harness.

-

Unclip release cable from mount.

-

Remove foot-operated parking brake bolts.

-

Remove foot operated parking brake lever from mount.

-

Remove cover.

-

First press spring plate of release spring - arrow A - downward in order to compress the spring for cable compensation - arrow B -. 

-

Hold spring - arrow B - compressed.

-

Secure compressed spring by e.g. sliding a drill through holes of the foot operated parking brake lever - arrow - and through the linked cable
mounting.
