Remove oil cooler from engine support with oil filter housing.

-

Place drip tray (VAS 6208) under engine. 

-

Clamp off coolant hoses with hose clamps hose clamps (3094).

-

Remove coolant hoses from oil cooler - arrows - and remove oil cooler.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace sealing rings.

Check oil level

Check coolant level => [ Check coolant level. ] See: Cooling System/Service and Repair.

On a vehicle with air suspension, deactivate vehicle lift mode.
