Removing

To separate engine and transmission => [ Engine and Transmission, Separating ] See: Service and Repair/Engine and Transmission, Separating.

Fasten engine on engine and transmission holder => [ Engine and Transmission, Securing to Holder ] See: Service and Repair/Engine and
Transmission, Securing to Holder.

Remove drive plate => [ Drive Plate ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Flex Plate/Service and Repair/Drive Plate.

Remove oil pan => [ Oil Pan ] See: Engine Lubrication/Oil Pan/Service and Repair/Oil Pan.

Remove timing chain lower cover bolts - 1 and 2 -.
CAUTION!
Risk of damaging cylinder head seal.
‹› Remove timing chain lower cover horizontally from cylinder block.

Press crankshaft shaft seal out of lower timing chain cover.
