New Digital Compass, Calibrating

Switch on ignition.

A "C" must appear in compass display - 1 -. 

-

If "C" does not appear, press and hold button -  2 - at least 9 seconds until a "C" appears in compass display - 1 -.

-

Drive in a circle two to three times at about 5 mph (10 km/h) until a direction is shown in compass display - 1 -.

Leave ignition switched on.

-

Press and hold button - 2 - at least 6 seconds until " Z" and a zone number appears.

-

Press - 2 - button again until desired zone number appears.

-

Find desired zone on world map:

After a few seconds, compass display switches from zone number to direction.

-

Ensure the interior rearview mirror automatic dimming function is activated again after completing the calibration.

-

Switch off ignition.
