Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Remove front door trim. 

Vehicles with 2-zone climate control:

-

Detach insulating mat from door trim.

-

Disengage air channel - 1 - on door trim -  arrows -.

Vehicles with 4-zone climate control:

-

Remove insulation mat - 3 - from door trim.

All Vehicles

-

Disconnect electrical connectors - 1 - and -  2 -.

-

Remove screws - arrows -.

-

Remove armrest - 1 - in - direction of arrow  -.
