Headlamp Igniter Module: Service and Repair

Left Headlamp Power Output Stage J667 / Right Headlamp Power Output Stage J668, Removing And Installing 

CAUTION:  Always disconnect Ground (GND) wire before working on gas-discharge headlamp components marked with yellow high voltage
symbols. 

Removing 

-

Remove headlamp.

-

Turn housing cover - 1 - counterclockwise - arrow - and remove from headlamp housing.

-

Turn socket - arrow - counterclockwise and pull out of headlamp housing.

-

Release locking slide - 2 - in - direction of arrow - and remove housing cover - 1 - from headlamp housing.
