‹› Check which suspension is installed in the vehicle. This information can be found on the vehicle data plate. Refer to => [ PR Number Explanations

Observe the following work sequence!

If necessary, check steering rack center position. Refer to => [ Steering Rack, Checking Center Position ] See: Steering Rack, Checking Center
Position.

On vehicles with air suspension, check axle alignment control position. Refer to => [ Axle Alignment Control Position, with Air Spring
Suspension, Checking ] See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Control ( Automatic - Electronic )/Air Spring/Testing and
Inspection.

Perform wheel run-out compensation. Refer to => [ Rim Run-Out Compensation ] See: Rim Run-Out Compensation.

Check front axle caster, adjust if necessary. Refer to => [ Front Axle Caster, Adjusting ] See: Front Axle Caster, Adjusting.

Check front axle camber and adjust if necessary. Refer to => [ Front Axle Camber, Adjusting ] See: Front Axle Camber, Adjusting.

Check front axle toe and adjust if necessary. Refer to => [ Front Axle Toe, Adjusting ] See: Front Axle Toe, Adjusting.

Check rear axle camber and adjust if necessary. Refer to => [ Rear Axle Camber, Adjusting ] See: Rear Axle Camber, Adjusting.

Check rear axle toe and adjust if necessary. Refer to => [ Rear Axle Toe, Adjusting ] See: Rear Axle Toe, Adjusting.

Check front axle toe angle again and adjust if necessary. Refer to => [ Front Axle Toe Angle, Checking and Adjusting ] See: Front Axle Toe

If adjustments have been made on the rear axle, ACC adjustment is required. Refer to => [ ACC Setting Device VAS 6190, Converting for

If the rear axle adjustments have been changed, then is it necessary to calibrate the lane assist. Refer to => [ Calibration Procedure ] See: Testing
and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

If the adjustments to the chassis have been changed, then perform a zero compensation on the steering angle sensor.
