Axle Oil Level in Front Final Drive, Checking

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

‹› Used oil collection and extraction device (V.A.G 1782)

Procedure

‹› Refer to general repair instructions. Refer to => [ General Repair Information ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Rear Final Drive/Service and

Repair/Procedures.

‹› When checking oil level, vehicle must be on a level surface.

Remove screws and remove front noise insulation - 1 -. 

-

Position Used Oil Collecting and Extracting Device (V.A.G 1782) below front final drive.

-

Remove oil filler bolt - arrow - with a hex key.
