Front Coolant Pipe

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose clamps, Up to 40 mm. (3093)

‹› Hose clamp pliers (V.A.G 1921)

‹› Drip tray for workshop crane (VAS 6208)

Removing

-

On a vehicle with air suspension, activate vehicle lift mode.

CAUTION!
Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.

‹› When the engine is warm the cooling system is under pressure.

‹› Reduce pressure by covering coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and carefully opening.

Open coolant reservoir cap.

Clamp off coolant hose using hose clamps (3093).

‹› Ignore - 1 and arrow -.

Remove screw and remove front noise insulation - 1 -.
