Connect VAG 1348 remote control (V.A.G 1348/3A) with adapter cable (V.A.G 1348/3-3) to terminal -  1 - on connector.

2. Tape adapter cable connector terminal (V.A.G 1348/3-3) with insulating tape - arrow - to prevent a short circuit.

-

Route VAG 1348 remote control (V.A.G 1348/3A) toward front in engine compartment.

Release retaining clip and open cover - A - over positive terminal pick-off.

-

Connect alligator clip to positive terminal pick-off.

-

Remove fuel filler cap from fuel filler tube.

CAUTION!
Risk of injury from fuel.

‹› Before opening the fuel system, lay a clean cloth around the connection point and carefully loosen it, which lowers the pressure.

Disconnect fuel line - 2 -.
