Release fuse - 5 - and retaining spring and press right CAN connector (T46b) - item 6 - back out of base mount.

Remove screws - 1 - and - 7 - and remove base mount back from instrument panel central tube.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Install glove compartment.
