Installing

Overview.

‹› Replace bolts which have been tightened to specification.

‹› Replace O-rings between fuel injector and fuel rail.

‹› Replace fuel injector spring elements.

Clean fuel injector holes in cylinder head with nylon brush (T10133/4).

Check support ring => [ (Item 24) Support ring ] See: Fuel Rail/Service and Repair/Fuel Rail and Injectors, Assembly Overview, replace if
damaged => [ Combustion Chamber Seal and Fuel Injector Support Ring ] See: Combustion Chamber Seal and Fuel Injector Support Ring.

Replace combustion chamber seal => [ Combustion Chamber Seal and Fuel Injector Support Ring ] See: Combustion Chamber Seal and Fuel
Injector Support Ring.

Position spring element - 1 -, coat O-ring -  3 - with clean engine oil and position in front of support ring -  2 -.
