4. Oxygen Sensor (O2S) behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) (G130)

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications => [ Component Locations ] See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Locations.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Threads on new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste

‹› When reinstalling a used oxygen sensor, coat threads with hot bolt paste.

‹› Assembly paste or hot bolt paste must not get on slits in sensor body. 

‹› Electrical wire of oxygen sensor must always be secured in the same position when installing so that contact with the exhaust pipe is avoided.
