Removing And Installing 

Navigation System With CD Drive Control Module J401 (MMI), Removing And Installing 

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Radio Removal Tool T10057

-

Protective Cap For Cable Connector VAS6223/9

Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module J401 is located in luggage compartment beneath the flap on the right

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key. 

-

If control module is replaced, select the function "Replace" of respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding".

Use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS5051/5052 to do so.

Removing 

-

Remove floor panel and recess in luggage compartment.

-

Insert two hooks of Radio Removal Tool T10057 into the front of Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module J401.
