CONDITION
Paint comes off sensor for parking assistance. Unjustified warnings may be possible.
TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
Adhesion of the priming on the membrane may be insufficient.
PRODUCTION SOLUTION
Production process changed.
SERVICE
Replace all sensors for the parking assistance system.
On vehicles with the 8 - channel parking assistance system, this includes the sensors in the unaffected bumper.
Tip: Settle all sensors in one warranty claim.
