Carefully release retaining hooks - arrows - and remove spiral spring/return spring with slip ring - 1 - from steering column switch module
(SMLS).

‹› Steering column switch module has been removed in illustration.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Make sure all fasteners and electrical connectors are properly engaged.

Insert top trim piece for steering column switch into catches of bottom trim piece, press together and bolt.

-

Install steering wheel.

-

Install airbag unit.
